WARNING: To the best of my knowledge all the stamps listed on this page are "illegal issues", according to a Universal Postal Union circular reproduced on the Philatelic Webmasters' Organization web site at http://pwmo.org/Illegals/frame-illegals-en.htm . In addition, all official statements I have seen reported on indicate that no legitimate stamps of Afghanistan have been issued since 1989.
