Booklets of these stamps feature five examples of each design type. These are likely to differ in minor design features and have therefore been listed individually. However I have yet to acquire sufficient copies of stamps in the 45c series to be able to illustrate all the possible design types.

Appendix 1

The following appendix describes the differences between the five types of each stamp in Booklet EKE B13b. Each stamp has at least a minor characteristic to distinguish it from others in the booklet, but for reference purposes the enlargements given here illustrate the same parts of each stamp.

Appendix 2

Undenominated stamps

These stamps, inscribed "Kiwi", first sold at 50c each, are valid for the basic internal postal rate within New Zealand, even when the rate rises to 60c on 1st October, 2010.
