Appendix 1

Stamps of the 03/06 imprint date exist in two major types, with those I presume to be of the second type showing the face value closer to the upper margin of the stamp.

Appendix 2

Some stamps of the second major type of the 03/06 imprint date exist in two or more very slightly different varieties, which could indicate additional printings. These differences are listed below. However, in many cases I have yet to obtain sufficient information about these stamps to distinguish the separate printings; and until such time as I obtain a booklet of stamps from each printing I am unable to advise which types are found in the same booklet.

Undenominated stamps

These stamps, inscribed "Kiwi", are permanently valid for the basic internal postal rate within New Zealand. This rate was 50c when the stamps were first issued, rising to 60c on 1st October, 2010.
